Improvements enlarged Deaconess Hospital

The year 1927 saw notable building improvements on the Protestant Deaconess Hospital. A new story was added to the old building, Mary and Iowa Sts, more operating and laboratory rooms atop the central section, enlarged room facilities for nurses' home, and extensive improvements to the interiors.
